Immerse yourself in the colourful world of Udo Lindenberg! Panik City on the Reeperbahn is a multimedia world of experience that presents the life and work of the German rock star in a unique way. Go on an interactive journey through Udo’s career, from his beginnings in Gronau to the legendary Panikorchester concerts. Experience music, art and contemporary history all at once – and interactively.
Udo's vision of an interactive world of experience
Panik City was Udo Lindenberg’s idea. The rock star had long dreamed of a place where his fans could experience his music and art up close. Together with a creative team, he developed the concept for Panik City, which opened its doors in 2018. The 700-square-metre world of experience is located in the Klubhaus St. Pauli.
A journey through Udo's life
In Panic City, visitors go on an interactive journey through Udo’s life. The rock star’s story is told through photos, videos, music and personal items. Experience Udo’s childhood in Gronau, his first musical steps and his breakthrough in the 1970s. Join him on his tours and learn more about his political and social commitments.
Highlights of Panic City
The Likörelle Gallery: Admire Udo’s famous Likörelle pictures and try your hand at painting.
The recording studio: Take a look behind the scenes of a recording studio and record a song yourself.
The concerts: Experience a concert event with Udo Lindenberg – from the perspective of the musician, his band and the dancers.
The GDR: Find out more about Udo’s history with the East, learn the background to his Stasi file and marvel at a golden Trabi.
Panorama installation: Take a look at Udo’s hotel room at the Hotel Atlantic. Join him on a journey through his life.
